Planning in Ilkeston goes through Erewash Borough Council. Swapping like for like is usually fine, but a changed appearance, an external shutter or an illuminated sign usually does. We flag it at survey so it never delays the fit.
How much?
Guide price: from £145 plus VAT for a standard opening. Size, specification and strip-out decide the exact number. Once issued, the price is fixed for 90 days unless the specification changes.
How long it takes
Expect Often within the week for manufacture. The install itself rarely takes more than two days for a standard opening. Early starts and closed-day fitting are both possible.
Specification notes
Most shutter failures come down to a motor fault, a broken spring or a lath that has jumped its guide. Popular choices include broken springs and slipped laths; guide and bottom rail damage.

Can you match the units either side?
On a parade where the landlord wants a consistent frontage, we work to the same section profile and colour reference so the unit reads as part of the row.
