The local planning authority for Boston is Boston Borough Council. Swapping like for like is usually fine, whereas a new look, an outside shutter box or a lit fascia generally needs an application. We check which applies to your unit at survey.
Costs
Manual roller shutters start at around £890 plus VAT. Your quote depends on the opening size, the finish and how easy access is. Your price is held for 90 days.
How long it takes
Lead time is typically 2-3 weeks after survey. The install itself rarely takes more than two days for a standard opening. Closed-day or out-of-hours work can be arranged.
The product
For smaller openings a manual shutter on a spring-balanced barrel is the most economical way to secure the frontage overnight. You can specify floor locks either side; powder-coated laths and guides.
Coverage
Boston falls within Lincolnshire including the PE postcodes, with regular work in neighbouring Grantham, Skegness and Lincoln.
