Fire-rated shutters fitted in Stone
Fire-rated shutters in Stone start from about £3,200 plus VAT for a standard opening, with a free survey and a written quotation before anything is ordered.
Around Stone, every job begins with a visit to measure the opening so the quotation for the fire-rated shutters is a real figure.
Local planning
In Stone, applications go to Stafford Borough Council. Replacing an existing frontage in the same style seldom needs permission, whereas a new look, an outside shutter box or a lit fascia generally needs an application. We flag it at survey so it never delays the fit.
Costs
The entry price is about £3,200 plus VAT. Your quote depends on the opening size, the finish and how easy access is. Quotations stay valid for 90 days.
Timescales
Expect 4-6 weeks after survey for manufacture. Fitting a standard Stone unit is normally one to two days on site. We can fit on a day the business is shut.
About the product
A fire shutter holds a compartment line for its rated period and closes automatically when the alarm panel signals. Common specifications: annual servicing recommended; tested and certified as a complete assembly.
