Around Stafford, a surveyor measures the unit before anything is priced so the quotation for the fire-rated shutters is a real figure.
Do you need consent?
Stafford Borough Council decides planning in Stafford. Swapping like for like is usually fine, whereas a new look, an outside shutter box or a lit fascia generally needs an application. We flag it at survey so it never delays the fit.

About the product
A fire shutter holds a compartment line for its rated period and closes automatically when the alarm panel signals. You can specify drops automatically on a signal from the fire alarm panel; fail-safe release options.

Questions from Stafford customers
Do you cover the whole of Staffordshire?
Yes. We cover Stafford and the rest of Staffordshire, including Stone, Uttoxeter and Stoke-on-Trent.
What guarantee do I get?
Every installation comes with a written guarantee, and manufacturer warranties on hardware, motors and finishes are passed to you. The terms are set out on your quotation.
Can you match the units either side?
On a parade where the landlord wants a consistent frontage, we work to the same section profile and colour reference so the unit reads as part of the row.
What do you need from me to quote?
The address, roughly what you want, and a photo of the current frontage. Opening sizes help but are not essential, because we measure at survey anyway.
