Fire-rated shutters fitted in Hereford
Fire-rated shutters in Hereford start from about £3,200 plus VAT for a standard opening, with a free survey and a written quotation before anything is ordered.
For Hereford shops and offices, a surveyor measures the unit before anything is priced and the fire-rated shutters are then made to those dimensions.
Planning rules in Hereford
Herefordshire Council decides planning in Hereford. Like-for-like work rarely needs consent, but a changed appearance, an external shutter or an illuminated sign usually does. We flag it at survey so it never delays the fit.
Price guide
The entry price is about £3,200 plus VAT. The real figure comes from the survey measurements. The written quotation is valid for 90 days.
How long it takes
Expect 4-6 weeks after survey for manufacture. The install itself rarely takes more than two days for a standard opening. If you cannot close, we can work outside trading hours.
About the product
A fire shutter holds a compartment line for its rated period and closes automatically when the alarm panel signals. You can specify fail-safe release options; annual servicing recommended.
