Shopfront glass replacement fitted in Hereford
Shopfront glass replacement in Hereford start from about £480 plus VAT for a standard opening, with a free survey and a written quotation before anything is ordered.
Across Hereford, the first step is a free site survey so the quotation for the shopfront glass replacement is a real figure.
How long it takes
Manufacture usually takes Glass made to order, typically 3-7 days. The install itself rarely takes more than two days for a standard opening. Closed-day or out-of-hours work can be arranged.
What gets fitted
Shopfront glass must be toughened or laminated wherever it sits in a critical location, so panes are made to the measured size rather than cut from stock. Popular choices include old glass removed and disposed of; toughened or laminated to suit the location.
Nearby
We treat Hereford as part of our Herefordshire round including the HR postcodes, so the team is regularly nearby in Ross-on-Wye and Leominster.
Local planning
Planning in Hereford goes through Herefordshire Council. A straight replacement is normally permitted, whereas a new look, an outside shutter box or a lit fascia generally needs an application. The survey confirms which rules apply.
