Local planning
Telford & Wrekin Council decides planning in Telford. Swapping like for like is usually fine, whereas a new look, an outside shutter box or a lit fascia generally needs an application. The survey confirms which rules apply.
How much?
Budget from £2,450 plus VAT as a starting point. Size, specification and strip-out decide the exact number. Once issued, the price is fixed for 90 days unless the specification changes.
How long it takes
Expect 3-4 weeks after drawing sign-off for manufacture. Fitting a standard Telford unit is normally one to two days on site. If you cannot close, we can work outside trading hours.
Specification notes
Aluminium is the default for high-street retail because the sections stay slim, the powder coat can match any brand colour, and the frame will not rot, swell or warp. Popular choices include low-threshold entrance options for level access; thermally broken or non-thermal sections to suit the unit.
Coverage
Telford falls within Shropshire across the TF postcode district, so the team is regularly nearby in Ludlow, Market Drayton and Shrewsbury.
Before you book
Who carries out the work?
Work is carried out by our installation team and approved installers working under S&K Glazing Limited, which contracts with you and is responsible for the job.
Do you cover the whole of Shropshire?
Yes. We cover Telford and the rest of Shropshire, including Ludlow, Market Drayton and Shrewsbury.
What guarantee do I get?
Every installation comes with a written guarantee, and manufacturer warranties on hardware, motors and finishes are passed to you. The terms are set out on your quotation.
Can you match the units either side?
On a parade where the landlord wants a consistent frontage, we work to the same section profile and colour reference so the unit reads as part of the row.
