Steel shopfronts fitted in Walsall
Steel shopfronts in Walsall start from about £3,600 plus VAT for a standard opening, with a free survey and a written quotation before anything is ordered.
In Walsall and nearby, a surveyor measures the unit before anything is priced and the steel shopfronts are then made to those dimensions.
How long it takes
Manufacture usually takes 5-6 weeks after drawing sign-off. The install itself rarely takes more than two days for a standard opening. Early starts and closed-day fitting are both possible.
The product
Steel takes an impact that aluminium will not, so it is the usual choice for units that have been targeted before or that sit on a late-night street. You can specify pairs well with a roller shutter for two layers of delay; slim steel sections with high impact resistance.
Coverage
Walsall falls within West Midlands including the WS postcodes, so the team is regularly nearby in Aldridge, Kingswinford and Rowley Regis.
Permission and Walsall Council
Planning in Walsall goes through Walsall Council. Like-for-like work rarely needs consent, whereas a new look, an outside shutter box or a lit fascia generally needs an application. The survey confirms which rules apply.
How much?
Guide price: from £3,600 plus VAT for a standard opening. Width, height, finish and access move the final figure. Quotations stay valid for 90 days.
Questions from Walsall customers
Who carries out the work?
Work is carried out by our installation team and approved installers working under S&K Glazing Limited, which contracts with you and is responsible for the job.
Do you cover the whole of West Midlands?
Yes. We cover Walsall and the rest of West Midlands, including Aldridge, Kingswinford and Rowley Regis.
What guarantee do I get?
Every installation comes with a written guarantee, and manufacturer warranties on hardware, motors and finishes are passed to you. The terms are set out on your quotation.
Can you match the units either side?
On a parade where the landlord wants a consistent frontage, we work to the same section profile and colour reference so the unit reads as part of the row.
