Timescales
Lead time is typically 5-6 weeks after drawing sign-off. Fitting a standard Sutton Coldfield unit is normally one to two days on site. If you cannot close, we can work outside trading hours.
What gets fitted
Steel takes an impact that aluminium will not, so it is the usual choice for units that have been targeted before or that sit on a late-night street. Options include crittall-style glazing bar patterns; pairs well with a roller shutter for two layers of delay.
Coverage
Our Sutton Coldfield jobs sit within West Midlands and the B postcode area, with regular work in neighbouring Solihull, West Bromwich and Smethwick.
Local planning
In Sutton Coldfield, applications go to Birmingham City Council. Replacing an existing frontage in the same style seldom needs permission, but anything that alters the look of the street usually needs consent. You will know before you order.
