About the product
Steel takes an impact that aluminium will not, so it is the usual choice for units that have been targeted before or that sit on a late-night street. Popular choices include crittall-style glazing bar patterns; pairs well with a roller shutter for two layers of delay.

Do you need consent?
In Newcastle-under-Lyme, applications go to Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council. Like-for-like work rarely needs consent, but a changed appearance, an external shutter or an illuminated sign usually does. We flag it at survey so it never delays the fit.
