Local planning
Planning in Kenilworth goes through Warwick District Council. Replacing an existing frontage in the same style seldom needs permission, but a changed appearance, an external shutter or an illuminated sign usually does. We check which applies to your unit at survey.
Costs
Budget from £3,600 plus VAT as a starting point. Your quote depends on the opening size, the finish and how easy access is. Once issued, the price is fixed for 90 days unless the specification changes.
From order to fitted
Allow 5-6 weeks after drawing sign-off from drawings to delivery. Fitting a standard Kenilworth unit is normally one to two days on site. Early starts and closed-day fitting are both possible.
The product
Steel takes an impact that aluminium will not, so it is the usual choice for units that have been targeted before or that sit on a late-night street. Common specifications: slim steel sections with high impact resistance; laminated glass options for attack resistance.
