How much?
Budget from £1,150 plus VAT as a starting point. Size, specification and strip-out decide the exact number. Quotations stay valid for 90 days.
From order to fitted
Expect 2-3 weeks after survey for manufacture. On site, most Solihull jobs take one or two days. We can fit on a day the business is shut.
Specification notes
A grille secures the opening while leaving the frontage visible, which suits units inside shopping centres and anywhere a solid curtain is not wanted. Common specifications: retractable lattice or fixed bar designs; folds back into the reveal during trading.

Solihull falls within West Midlands across the B postcode district, with regular work in neighbouring Halesowen, Stourbridge and Wednesbury.
Permission and Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council
The local planning authority for Solihull is Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council. Swapping like for like is usually fine, but a changed appearance, an external shutter or an illuminated sign usually does. The survey confirms which rules apply.
FAQs
Do you cover the whole of West Midlands?
Yes. We cover Solihull and the rest of West Midlands, including Halesowen, Stourbridge and Wednesbury.
What guarantee do I get?
Every installation comes with a written guarantee, and manufacturer warranties on hardware, motors and finishes are passed to you. The terms are set out on your quotation.
Can you match the units either side?
On a parade where the landlord wants a consistent frontage, we work to the same section profile and colour reference so the unit reads as part of the row.
What do you need from me to quote?
The address, roughly what you want, and a photo of the current frontage. Opening sizes help but are not essential, because we measure at survey anyway.
