Security grilles fitted in Shrewsbury
Security grilles in Shrewsbury start from about £1,150 plus VAT for a standard opening, with a free survey and a written quotation before anything is ordered.
Across Shrewsbury, we survey the opening before any price is given which is how the security grilles end up the right size.
Timescales
Expect 2-3 weeks after survey for manufacture. The install itself rarely takes more than two days for a standard opening. If you cannot close, we can work outside trading hours.
About the product
A grille secures the opening while leaving the frontage visible, which suits units inside shopping centres and anywhere a solid curtain is not wanted. Common specifications: powder-coated to match the frontage; retractable lattice or fixed bar designs.
Our Shropshire area
We treat Shrewsbury as part of our Shropshire round covering SY postcodes, which puts it on the same route as Ludlow, Market Drayton and Telford.
Do you need consent?
Shropshire Council decides planning in Shrewsbury. A straight replacement is normally permitted, whereas a new look, an outside shutter box or a lit fascia generally needs an application. You will know before you order.
Price guide
Budget from £1,150 plus VAT as a starting point. The real figure comes from the survey measurements. The written quotation is valid for 90 days.
Common questions
Do you cover the whole of Shropshire?
Yes. We cover Shrewsbury and the rest of Shropshire, including Ludlow, Market Drayton and Telford.
What guarantee do I get?
Every installation comes with a written guarantee, and manufacturer warranties on hardware, motors and finishes are passed to you. The terms are set out on your quotation.
Can you match the units either side?
On a parade where the landlord wants a consistent frontage, we work to the same section profile and colour reference so the unit reads as part of the row.
What do you need from me to quote?
The address, roughly what you want, and a photo of the current frontage. Opening sizes help but are not essential, because we measure at survey anyway.
