Planning rules in Leominster
Herefordshire Council decides planning in Leominster. Swapping like for like is usually fine, whereas a new look, an outside shutter box or a lit fascia generally needs an application. The survey confirms which rules apply.
Costs
Security grilles start at around £1,150 plus VAT. Your quote depends on the opening size, the finish and how easy access is. Quotations stay valid for 90 days.
Timescales
Allow 2-3 weeks after survey from drawings to delivery. Fitting a standard Leominster unit is normally one to two days on site. Closed-day or out-of-hours work can be arranged.
Specification notes
A grille secures the opening while leaving the frontage visible, which suits units inside shopping centres and anywhere a solid curtain is not wanted. Popular choices include powder-coated to match the frontage; retractable lattice or fixed bar designs.
