Local planning
Planning in Aldridge goes through Walsall Council. Like-for-like work rarely needs consent, but anything that alters the look of the street usually needs consent. We flag it at survey so it never delays the fit.
What it costs in Aldridge
The entry price is about £1,150 plus VAT. The real figure comes from the survey measurements. The written quotation is valid for 90 days.
How long it takes
Lead time is typically 2-3 weeks after survey. Fitting a standard Aldridge unit is normally one to two days on site. Early starts and closed-day fitting are both possible.
The product
A grille secures the opening while leaving the frontage visible, which suits units inside shopping centres and anywhere a solid curtain is not wanted. Popular choices include powder-coated to match the frontage; retractable lattice or fixed bar designs.
