Security doors fitted in Northampton
Security doors in Northampton start from about £1,450 plus VAT for a standard opening, with a free survey and a written quotation before anything is ordered.
In Northampton and nearby, a surveyor measures the unit before anything is priced so the quotation for the security doors is a real figure.
Permission and West Northamptonshire Council
The local planning authority for Northampton is West Northamptonshire Council. Replacing an existing frontage in the same style seldom needs permission, but a changed appearance, an external shutter or an illuminated sign usually does. We check which applies to your unit at survey.
How much?
The entry price is about £1,450 plus VAT. Width, height, finish and access move the final figure. Quotations stay valid for 90 days.
Timescales
Lead time is typically 3-4 weeks after survey. Fitting a standard Northampton unit is normally one to two days on site. Closed-day or out-of-hours work can be arranged.
Specification notes
Rear and side doors are where most forced entries happen because they are out of sight. You can specify multi-point locking; options tested to LPS 1175.

Common questions
Do you cover the whole of Northamptonshire?
Yes. We cover Northampton and the rest of Northamptonshire, including Corby, Wellingborough and Daventry.
What guarantee do I get?
Every installation comes with a written guarantee, and manufacturer warranties on hardware, motors and finishes are passed to you. The terms are set out on your quotation.
Can you match the units either side?
On a parade where the landlord wants a consistent frontage, we work to the same section profile and colour reference so the unit reads as part of the row.
What do you need from me to quote?
The address, roughly what you want, and a photo of the current frontage. Opening sizes help but are not essential, because we measure at survey anyway.
