Costs
Perforated roller shutters start at around £1,750 plus VAT. Size, specification and strip-out decide the exact number. Quotations stay valid for 90 days.
From order to fitted
Lead time is typically 2-3 weeks after survey. Fitting a standard Mansfield unit is normally one to two days on site. Closed-day or out-of-hours work can be arranged.
What gets fitted
Punched laths let passers-by see the window display after closing time while the shutter still secures the opening. Options include window display stays visible when closed; lets light and air through.
Our Nottinghamshire area
Our Mansfield jobs sit within Nottinghamshire covering NG postcodes, which puts it on the same route as Newark-on-Trent, Worksop and Nottingham.
Local planning
In Mansfield, applications go to Mansfield District Council. Swapping like for like is usually fine, whereas a new look, an outside shutter box or a lit fascia generally needs an application. We flag it at survey so it never delays the fit.
Common questions
Who carries out the work?
Work is carried out by our installation team and approved installers working under S&K Glazing Limited, which contracts with you and is responsible for the job.
Do you cover the whole of Nottinghamshire?
Yes. We cover Mansfield and the rest of Nottinghamshire, including Newark-on-Trent, Worksop and Nottingham.
What guarantee do I get?
Every installation comes with a written guarantee, and manufacturer warranties on hardware, motors and finishes are passed to you. The terms are set out on your quotation.
Can you match the units either side?
On a parade where the landlord wants a consistent frontage, we work to the same section profile and colour reference so the unit reads as part of the row.
