In Daventry, applications go to West Northamptonshire Council. Like-for-like work rarely needs consent, but a changed appearance, an external shutter or an illuminated sign usually does. We flag it at survey so it never delays the fit.
Price guide
The entry price is about £1,750 plus VAT. Size, specification and strip-out decide the exact number. Quotations stay valid for 90 days.
Timescales
Expect 2-3 weeks after survey for manufacture. The install itself rarely takes more than two days for a standard opening. Early starts and closed-day fitting are both possible.
The product
Punched laths let passers-by see the window display after closing time while the shutter still secures the opening. Options include punched or micro-perforated laths; window display stays visible when closed.

We treat Daventry as part of our Northamptonshire round and the NN postcode area, and we are often working close by in Corby, Wellingborough and Northampton.
Before you book
What guarantee do I get?
Every installation comes with a written guarantee, and manufacturer warranties on hardware, motors and finishes are passed to you. The terms are set out on your quotation.
Can you match the units either side?
On a parade where the landlord wants a consistent frontage, we work to the same section profile and colour reference so the unit reads as part of the row.
What do you need from me to quote?
The address, roughly what you want, and a photo of the current frontage. Opening sizes help but are not essential, because we measure at survey anyway.
