Permission and Worcester City Council
The local planning authority for Worcester is Worcester City Council. Swapping like for like is usually fine, though external shutters and lit signs normally need approval. We check which applies to your unit at survey.
Price guide
The entry price is about £1,450 plus VAT. The real figure comes from the survey measurements. Your price is held for 90 days.
From order to fitted
Allow 2-3 weeks after survey from drawings to delivery. The install itself rarely takes more than two days for a standard opening. We can fit on a day the business is shut.
What gets fitted
The motor sits inside the barrel and the shutter is run from a key switch, a remote or both. Options include key switch, remote or both; manual override for power cuts.
Nearby
We treat Worcester as part of our Worcestershire round and the WR postcode area, which puts it on the same route as Kidderminster, Bromsgrove and Malvern.
Before you book
Do you cover the whole of Worcestershire?
Yes. We cover Worcester and the rest of Worcestershire, including Kidderminster, Bromsgrove and Malvern.
What guarantee do I get?
Every installation comes with a written guarantee, and manufacturer warranties on hardware, motors and finishes are passed to you. The terms are set out on your quotation.
Can you match the units either side?
On a parade where the landlord wants a consistent frontage, we work to the same section profile and colour reference so the unit reads as part of the row.
What do you need from me to quote?
The address, roughly what you want, and a photo of the current frontage. Opening sizes help but are not essential, because we measure at survey anyway.
