Do you need consent?
Stoke-on-Trent City Council decides planning in Stoke-on-Trent. Replacing an existing frontage in the same style seldom needs permission, though external shutters and lit signs normally need approval. We check which applies to your unit at survey.
How much?
The entry price is about £1,450 plus VAT. Size, specification and strip-out decide the exact number. Quotations stay valid for 90 days.
From order to fitted
Lead time is typically 2-3 weeks after survey. The install itself rarely takes more than two days for a standard opening. Closed-day or out-of-hours work can be arranged.
What gets fitted
The motor sits inside the barrel and the shutter is run from a key switch, a remote or both. Common specifications: key switch, remote or both; manual override for power cuts.

Common questions
Do you cover the whole of Staffordshire?
Yes. We cover Stoke-on-Trent and the rest of Staffordshire, including Leek, Stone and Uttoxeter.
What guarantee do I get?
Every installation comes with a written guarantee, and manufacturer warranties on hardware, motors and finishes are passed to you. The terms are set out on your quotation.
Can you match the units either side?
On a parade where the landlord wants a consistent frontage, we work to the same section profile and colour reference so the unit reads as part of the row.
What do you need from me to quote?
The address, roughly what you want, and a photo of the current frontage. Opening sizes help but are not essential, because we measure at survey anyway.
